This makes me laugh. The eye line, the flayed nose, the lips. I think that you could have brought out the humour a bit more through careful cropping.

Besides the point that from this position the knight only has one square to move to, the dof really needed to be crisper throughout the frame.

The technique of gaussian blur overlays really doesn't work that well for music, I feel. The music really needs to be sharper.
