Fall Foliageby IronworkerComment: That's one big windmill. This image lacks in contrast a little and thus renders the image flat looking. I know it was a hazy day but just a little touch up on the contrast slider in any photo app would have helped this shot get that little punch appeal with the beautiful colours. I just tried it in PS and wow. |

Fox Squirrelby kentcombsComment: They don't call them that for nothing, beautiful tail on that squirrel. I feed one regularly and his coat has turned gray for winter and he almost doubled in size too. Great capture of a common subject. |

Exit Stage Leftby NordlysComment: Beautiful image of this bird frozen in time like that. Although I would have liked to have a better look at his face I appreciate the moment caught from nature. My only nit is the whites of your bird aren't white at all. Upping the levels just a bit would have given this that extra punch appeal with a bright white bird coming out from the dark bg.
Wouldn't mind seeing this with a few minor adjustments after the voting. |

Class of 2009by XMountaineerComment: Lovely portrait. The colourful tones enhance his smile and all around good mood. Maybe a tighter crop on top would keep my eyes from wandering as they do, hmm. |

American Gothic (Idaho Version)by drydocComment: Good idea and lovely composition although I would have preferred the colour version but that may be because Mr Potato Head is such a colourful guy. ;] I have something to say about his wife but I rather not here. PM me if you want to know what it is. |

Master of All He Surveysby SaraRComment: Beautiful composition and subject matter. A very powerful looking pose, full of pride. On the technical side though I find the main point of interest is underexposed. |

Real Moneyby CarlvanHeerdenComment: Nice bullion. Good work on the modeling.
Poor choice of background colour though.
With that lens you could have achieved a better image i'm sure. Can't really tell where the focus point is. I would have chosen a bigger aperture and focused on the coins. This would have made the bullion blurry and given this shot an overall more interesting feel. |
