At first looking at this gave me a sense of isolation but then I noticed the contrail in the distance. It reminds me of when I'm backpacking and in the middle of nowhere for a few days. Just as I forget what's on the other side of the mountains a jet flies over. The snow in the desert is nice too. Lets me know it's winter. Good job.

The lighting from the right is just a little distracting to me but cute kids are good for at least one extra point and the frame really draws me in. So, a 7.
