Without the context of the challenge, I don't think I would have thought of the ice as puzzle pieces. That's really what they look like, though. The title got a chuckle from me, too. I love the tones in the wall and rusted rings.

There is absolutely, positively no reason whatsoever for a shoehorn to be stuck into the side of an apple. It simply makes one say, "what the..." (However, the effect would be even stronger to those unfamiliar with this technique.) I still love it. I think the highlights really hurt it, though. They pull your eye to them and subsequently blind you.
