Your Call Cannot Be Completedby HipychikComment: Ooh... very striking contrast, composition and texture. I like the stone, string and metal... round cans, jagged stone and twist of string. Striking. Also a good childhood memory. |

perfect dollby judipixComment: I like the off center composition. Dolls are kind of creepy when you look closely at them. Nice even lighting and simple background. I wonder if you could have made this even lighter to make it even more high-key, possibly even give it a white vignette (can you do that in basic editing?). |

Tumbling Downby cloudsmeComment: The motion really catches my eye (not sure how you did it). Nice use of bright colors isolated by the background. I'm not sure why the blocks are flying across a blank frame so it feels a little contrived but still a nice shot. |

On the see-saw at the public gardenby arati_halbeComment: B&W is a great choice for this shot. Well-weathered equipment. I think I'd like it if I could see more of the great texture on the see-saw. I don't think you needed to get the whole see-saw in the picture to give the idea, so maybe a closer up view. |

The perfect Doll Houseby TLL061Comment: Interesting house, although it doesn't scream childhood at me. The bird bath right in the center is distracting. I can't tell which I should look at. You might have used the sidewalk as more of a leading line. Seems like too much background too. I like the color of the pink house and deep blue sky. |

Long Time No See!by OldCoyoteComment: Wow... this is s seriously scarred teddy! Great contrasting color. I love the way the texture of the bear and blanket work together. Lighting is a little harsh with strong shadows. Great subject but I think you could have gotten more from it. |

Playgroundby globe_girlComment: I like the repeating posts and the stair step effect. Background is distracting and the lighting is flat. Might have been cool to do a low angle from the lower left of your shot, looking up the equipment. You might have gotten more out of those square grates... possibly a close up of one of them. |

Hobbes - with adults presentby signal2noiseComment: A little contrived for me. I like the textures and the contrast of wood, brick and plaster. Hobbes doesn't really add much to the shot. It got me thinking about having to sit in the corner for bad behavior. |

To Be Continuedby libertyComment: Ah yes! Definitely a childhood memory! I like the close crop and choice to focus on just the dice. |

Yellow Heroin No. 3 (On the nod)by pawdrixComment: Interesting shot. I like that the color yellow isn't in the shot, although I don't think the title should have to explain it. So... I like the shot but the image itself doesn't make me think yellow. Refreshing to see out of the box thinking. |
