luminousby photokariangelComment: I thought I should circle back with you. I mentioned you in the comments of one of my images //dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=684701 because I was inspired by your photo. I love the intimacy of your shot... I'm fascinated how the camera allows the viewer to be so close to the subject without having ever met. To be this close would be SUCH an invasion of personal space, yet the photo makes it okay. Interesting in a weird way.
Anyway, I wasn't trying to duplicate your shot but I wanted something that had a similar intimacy. I think I pushed the wide angle distortion a little more than you. My daughter did the modeling for me because she's much more pleasing to look at up close than me. :)
Anyway, thanks for the great image and thanks for the inspiration. I wanted to make sure you know your work is appreciated and has spawned creativity in others (or copycats).
Thanks!

Too hot to handle.by PuckzzzComment: I love this shot. The intense stares make it. Great composition. The model on the right is slightly OOF, which leads me to the eyes of the model on the left. That's not all bad but I think I'd like it better if they were both sharp. Lighting is excellent. Well done! |

hot enough?by rhommelComment: I love the intense stare. Nice bubble placement. Lighting seems to be brighter in the midsection and fall off a bit at the face, which leads my eye more to the middle of the shot than the models eyes. Nicely done. |

Small Town, PAby escapetoozComment: Very eye catching... what's going on with the colors? Is this natural or did you crank up the saturation. I like it. |

A river runs through the cityby burtctComment: I like the idea of the tilted frame but it feels a like it's tilted a little too much. I think I'd like it better with a little less... it would give movement without making me feel like I'm going to slide off the left side of the shot. Nice exposure and interesting clouds. |

Here we go round.....by hesitantComment: Interesting structure. This could be good in black and white... crop off the city at the top and just focus on the repeating elements of the road structure. |
