Exhaleby CamComment: An interesting idea and I guess you have captured your intent. Sorry that it doesn't appeal to me - the idea, not the model nor the photographer! |

Little Manby cbellerComment: A lovely, clean, crisp photo. Maybe the choice of strip (football shirt) over which there can be no control(!!) causes a distraction from the face but maybe his team are just as important. |

Taschaby johnmComment: Very bright and cheery. The bright highlight on the hair is great fun, although maybe it is alittle overdone but maybe it is part of what makes this picture such fun! |

Veronique by sahkoComment: This is a very attractive study of an attractive subject and works well in black and white. The low key lighting works well, with good detail in the shadows. Maybe I would have cropped to her right elbow to hide the "material" there and add to the hint of mystery. |

My Babyby StevePaxComment: Methinks a very young baby! The crop to a landscape aspect is unusual and maybe I would have preferred to see more of the child. |

Selfportraitby willemComment: I really like this - it stands out from the rest even as a thumbnail. The high key approach with white on white works really well and the lighting lifts the face out of the white background. The slightly tilted pose appeals as well. My compliments. Maybe I would have cropped a little off the top but what do I know? |

Tylerby PedroComment: Maybe the lighting is a little strong for such a thoughtful pose? Otherwise this is a nice black and white portrait. |

The Key's to Successby jefalkComment: Nice title, attractive portrait, the framing (for once) adds to the overall effect. The open lid leads the eye nicley to the subject and the warmth of the light in the piano lends a good balance to his head and hair. Even the piano keys take the eyes to the main subject. The more I look, the more I see, the more I like! |

Losby kellenhellerComment: Nice use of low key. Is he alseep? It would have been nice to see his eye which may be obscured by the line of his spectacles! |

Passionby mbardeenComment: Which came first, the title and the idea or the photo? Anyway, it is very evocative and the title fits well. The background could do with clean up around the chin but it is a nicley lit, well captured portrait. |
