winkby whiteroomComment: very cute pose, greater depth of field would have left the apple nice and sharp too. |

N O S T A L G I Aby librodoComment: Manny, you have to stop giving yourself away with the all caps and spaced out titles. beautiful model and really nice pose. I like the diagonal of her scarf and the division of the frame with 2/3 bright white and the other side in shade. well done, as always! |

Charmby magnusComment: fun, playful pose and a beautiful smile. lighting is pretty uneven, with the right side of her face and arm a little too much in shadow |

protective limbsby mesmerajComment: I love it. as others have said, it was a very creative take on the challenge and well executed. I would consider this under rated, but that's the way it goes sometimes, so if you are happy with it and have learned to improve your photography, then plenty of good has come out of it. adding this as a favorite. |

Separate Spaceby dahkotaComment: I sat on this photo during the voting period, intending to come back to it because it struck me as a really terrific submission for the theme. I never got back to voting and I am sorry for that as this picture really moved me. The two people, sitting so close, but so disconnected from one another seems very sad to me. As you mention in your notes the two bats form a barrier between the two people and they both have expressions that say they'd rather be anywhere else but where they are sitting. The technical quality of the shot is OK, but the story is top notch. adding to my favorites.

Windows to the Soul by elsapoComment: see, Justin, this one, in my opinion is *much better* than your high contrast shot as here you are showcasing those amazing eyes and her stunning features (although, what do I know, you still placed much higher than I did in the last challenge...) I love the tight crop here. on;y minor nit pick is the stray hair in her left eyebrow. |

Engine 484by Firstrich1Comment: I think this is a case, given the challenge title, where you should have upped the contrast. The tonal range is not as rich as it could be, especially the blacks at the front of the engine between the cowcatcher and the circular part where the 484 sign is. |
