modern day fireby leafComment: I think you could have been a little more daring here. The red coils don't even look that hot. For a fire challenge, I would expect flames or heat to be the dominant subject. Here, the esspresso label and the grease spots on the burner compete for your attention. |

David and Goliathby zeuszenComment: I totally blew my vote on this one and rating it way lower than it should have been rated. Because of the size of the image, David was cut off on my monitor unless I scrolled down, which I didn't and therefore I didn't see the impact of this shot. My apologies. This is an excellent image! |

Rallyby JumboJimComment: good subject matter but I don't really see the participants here engaged in the conflict. I'd like to see the guy with the megaphone addressing a crowd or the person in the "No War" jacket confronting someone. would bring out the idea better. |
