Lovely shot. Much symbolism in this. Comp is good. Has God left us? The lighting from above hint not. The state of the building tells another story.. It's always man that vacates the estate and the prodigal son needs to return and get's his house in order. Im over analizing but there you have it. It's only because I like this shot 8

I think I know who this shot is. i do hope you dont get DQed since this is a worthy beautiful shot. Having said that. DQ wont take anything away from the image

Hey Steve. Good simple shot and taking the time to set this up and using what you have here you have done a great job on it.
Comp perfect for the simplicity and minimalism to work. The only thing that could maybe improve it for me is the blacks to the top being to dark. You have some banding going from shades of grey into the black which can be corrected easily. The black however is too void. I know it was new moon at the time of this shoot but just the simplest inclination of a moon there somewhere at a good spot in the black would boost this image for me. I would not crop of the blacks for then the image becomes meaningless, but having something else there as well would push it up a notch for me. Good finish and doing so with a shot like this says something. I think other comments below echo that as well

Very HDR ish but effective with the kid in the fore. Title not on but not deducting points. I almost made the same mistake and know how easy this can happen

I truly dont get this shot but as a photo 7... Maybe I would have rated it better if I understood the message and saw the relevance of the grossness of the scene with the drink that as far as I know should be a stately one..
