The painter really needs to be more in view here for me. A very nice pic even without this. You could argue otherwise but personal taste here is for either just the hand - no head/hat etc, or arm with full head in the pic. This cut just does not work for me 6

The lighting here really does not work for this shot. Comp also lacking and I need a focus point. Currently a jumble of glasses which I suppose is maybe your intention but not pleasing and working entirely as a photographic study on these glasses
