Write to herby meneleComment: Lovely simple interpretation and nice execution. If I'm being nitpicky I'd suggest that the handwriting itself could be a bit more 'olde world' and perhaps elaborate to enhance the old ways feel a bit. |

On the Wingby jbsmithanaComment: Great shot. Really works in black and white. Also the only apparently non-Zoo or portrait bald eagle which is really refreshing to see. Nice context and excellent definition. Well done! |

Midair refueling with their daily breadby justamistereComment: Great shot. At first I didn't see the bread and was captivated (and impressed) by the sharpness of all the birds faces...then I saw the bread and it really made the photo. Innovative and well executed. |

The bird doesn't have to be pin sharp for this shot, and the important part - the head - is in focus. The movement in the wings just adds to the shot by implying movement and flights. The crop/framing is also lovely with the internal symmetry of that window ledge. Great textures on the wall too. Don't be so hard on yourself :) |

The Lowly Pigeonby KarenNfldComment: Fantastic job in pp. Love your vision and the accentuation of the existing colours. Really striking and individual. |

The Price of Freedomby Breeee123Comment: This is my favourite of the Bald Eagle shots submitted because of the closeness to the bird and the detail. There's a certain intimacy about this shot that separates it from the others for me. I think it's all in the fantastic detail and sparkle of the bird's eye. |

Together we LIVE, Alone we die. by Dirt_DiverComment: I really liked this shot - a bit surprised it didn't feature a lot higher in the ranking. It's a bold statement. I gave this a 9...for me the desaturation only served to move focus to the togetherness of the hands, rather than weirdly discolourised forearms. I reckon you'd do really well at a stock photography place with this image...(team work, togetherness etc). |

The Recycling Apeby JaimeVinasComment: I gave this an 8 for what it's worth. I agree with mpeters - technically this shot is spot on. To mark it below a 5 is harsh. Lighten up DPC! |

Tentativeby aberrationComment: Very nice shot. I really like the tones and textures, plus the perspective gives added interest. Plus you've got cute in there for mass appeal :) |
