sepia worked quite well in this image, although it may have blended the metal with the wood, which took away emphasis to the subject of this challenge.

the shallow dof, i think, was not a good call. the opposite directions of the thread in the background would have given more dynamic to the image had it been emphasized. the shadows are strong, indicating harsh lighting, which was not vere pleasant at all. overall, nice composition.
