Toots Thielemans in concertby fanfuineComment: Nice moment. If you're going to include most of the elbow, include the whole thing! The lighting here isn't especially flattering to him, I'd have removed most of the purple in PS. |

Blues Under the Starsby DrAchooComment: You did well to keep detail in the performer as well as the lamps. Tilted composition works well. Some basic editing desaturation has resulted in strange bright blue strips over your photo which spoil the effect. Would it have been better as it was? |

Beautiful Noiseby SteveinnzComment: Wow, not usually the best place for a plectrum (over fingerboard). Anyway, I like the selective desat but the onboard flash (work of the devil) has really spoilt the shot, look at the shadows under the fingers. |

Guitar playerby speedylixComment: Doesn't quite look intentionally blurry. A little oversaturated for my taste, with too many unnatural purples. |

Underground Music Sceneby muur88Comment: I can see dodging/burning around the subject (especially when I tilt my laptop screen) and guitar case. I heavily doubt this was basic editing. Nonetheless, I will vote as if it was legal. |

Danny "Boy" Guneratneby ergoComment: I like the PP, nice candid. The look on the bagpipist's face on the far side makes this shot. Photo is slightly tilted, I'd have liked it straightened. |

Mississippi All Starsby glodaComment: Nice PP treatment, shame about the two random strangers in the background, one with no eyes. Love the pose of the clarinetist. |

Band name: Dog in lost and foundby harabanarComment: Shame this is overexposed. It rarely works when the eyes are near the edge of the frame looking out of it, it leads the viewer's eye out of the shot and makes the left of the shot redundant. Microphones in the way of faces are also best avoided... how about a couple of steps to the left so the microphone is not obscuring his mouth? |

Bluesby TooCoolComment: I don't think you've caught him at a good moment during this set... his eyes look unbelievably tired and I don't think it's particularly flattering. I bet he looked better when he was singing. |
