This is almost great. I know it was a difficult shot, but just a little bit crisper, more in focus, and I could have given it two more points. It's just blurry enough to make me feel I have to adjust my glasses (though of course that wouldn't help). If it was a far/shaky shot, you could have gotten some sharpness by losing a little size, and improved the image immeasurably.

This isn't your fault, but I'm starting to get fed up with the 'Let's enter the American flag in every single challenge!' thing. At least yours fits the challenge, unlike three others this time, and is a nice-looking image to boot.

If the topic were architecture I'd give this a 9, easily. However, the topic's glass, so I have to mark it lower ... if the reflective bits were metal it wouldn't change the picture at all, really, so I'm leaving space at the top for entries that explore the topic more thoroughly. Striking, gorgeous image.

This is a nice image, but the 'glassness' of it seems incidental, so I have to grade it a little lower to leave room for more integral explorations of the theme in the higher vote levels.

Fits the theme well, but it feels overprocessed to me, with those neon grainy bits glowing out of the shot. If it were a little more subtle/realistic, I'd have graded it higher. This is a personal taste choice. :->

If this were a little less muted, I might have rated it higher; it is a decent go at the theme of 'glass,' IMHO, but with just a little more after-the-camera work could have gotten a better score.

Great clouds/reflections shot ... however, other folks explored the glassness of glass more thoroughly (rather than just one facet of it, as it were), so I had to grade you lower than them.

Not that bad an image, and I would have rated it higher if there were a little more contrast in it - either a wider range of colors beyond cyan, or maybe a liiiiittle less glare, would have gotten it another point.

Reflections

There was nothing blatantly 'wrong' with this photo, and if the theme were reflections I'd probably have given it an 8 or so, but as it is, other works got deeper into the 'glassness' of the glass in their photos, so I had to leave room for a representative spread in my ratings.

NIcely composed, good contrasts and sharpness ... however, I had to grade it down a little (relative to others) because the star of the shot is the art *painted* on the glass, and not the glassness of it, if you will. A decent try, but not, IMHO, a great one, at the theme.
