DSC_0002by Prime_TimeComment: I really like this. The textures and comp are great. I like the white at the top. There is a philosophy of photos that says that there should be "some way out of the photo". (don't remember where I read this). Usually, this means there is a dark area, tree trunk or something that lets the eye out of the frame. In this photo, the white lets the eye out of the frame and i think it works very well. Usually, a white spot leading out would not be considered "good" I think, but this one works for me.
Only nit for me is the color pink. Just me. I like the color contrasts and can't think of an alternative. Maybe if it were more purple, but I'm not sure. At any rate, nice creation. LG |

Inlet.jpgby tnunComment: another thought. This scene would really have benefitted from use of a graduated neutral density filter to open up the shadows in the foreground. |
