OK, you asked for it. :)

Though I find your composition fairly interesting, the photo appears to be too contrasty. The highlights are so blown out, and the shadows are so dark, there seems to be very little detail left.

I would have loved to have seen the texture of the woodgrain, or the reflections in the water.. But it's all gone. :(

The biggest compliment I can give this photo is that it's DIFFERENT than the rest in this challenge. Good on you for not entering the cliched oversaturated sunset with long exposure waves.

I also notice that this was taken in Banff, one of the most beautiful locations in Canada, which in my opinion makes it even more impressive that you entered a shot like this.

I'm sorry that I didn't vote in this challenge, because I would have given this a 9. Excellent photo.

This is a very nice photo, but I almost like the original better. The PP is extremely heavy handed on this one. While that sometimes gives a surreal or dreamlike quality to an image, this one just looks overprocessed. IMHO of course..

But what do I know? 6.62 and 13th place. ;)
