looks like some camera shake or blurriness. I'm not sure if cutting it off where you did at the bottom of the hat works for me. My impression is that this was not a shot you staged, but something that you had to snap when it happened.

A good idea, but I think the lighting is too dead on front and center. Moving the lights might give it some more interest, especially on the glass bowl.
