You should look at the art of Edward Hopper (or perhaps you already did)...he has many similar images. Very nice light balance

Nice color balance between blue and orange, sunsets are so common but this is nice, the rocks as a leading line add interest.

nice portrait, would you consider softening the light? You almost lose detail on her face, would be nice if her dark side were in the shadows a bit.
