Quite a simple shot well executed but probably has too low a difficulty factor to score highly. Good sharpness on the head of the duck but the surface itself is quite busy and so you almost have two unrelated subjects. Perhaps a simple, neutral environment in which the place the brightly coloured duck would work better for me

Lovely macro and golden tones. So many choices of where to place the focal point, I imagined you might have tried the tip of the arm but perhaps you went for this one instead because that might have ment only a very small area of the image was in focus so you did the right thing doing what you did. The image seems a little noisy though, perhaps its just my dislay but I would have thought you would have used a tripod and the lowest ISO possible and gotten perfect quality

Seen something very similar in the popcorn challenge and so unfortunately for me, this have lost some of its impact. Good colours though, sharp eyes and well composed and given your title it fits quite nicely and is nice not to have to vote on a still life

The ebay theme is being pushed a little hard here. Tones are a bit bland, could have done with using Levels or Curves to increase constrast at the lower end. Could easily have cropped out the guy in the background on the phone. Nice not to see another still life though so thats good

Might have been worth considering just having one figure instead of three, each one is quite detailed and there is a lot to take in. Applying some portrait theory to have sharp eyes and then a bit of DOF going on would have been interesting to see.

The second ebay/long exposure combo I've seen and again I'm saying would have been better if entered into the other competition. Having said that, lovely colours and contrast, well composed and makes for an interesting abstract

The main subject is pretty complex and so having a relatively complicated background (despite being blurred) and a textured reflective surface, the whole image is pretty busy. I bet it didn't compress well and you may have had to step down the jpeg quality a fair amount to get under the 150K limit - in my limited experience on this site, the clean and simple ones work the best. If this was taken from a lower viewpoint, with a wider angle looing up against a neutral background, the horse would be much better isolated and I'm certain would have scored higher - good luck.

I can fully understand the effort and time required to produce this but it almost works against you in that it appears perhaps overly setup. Its almost like a theatrical production image to be used inside a programme with the melodramatic expressions. Composition seems a little unbalanced and a bit heavy on the right hand side. Lovely PP burning work, would be interested in seeing the original.
