I think I know what you were trying to accomplish, but I think the camera was too far from the stripe. The stripe instead of serving as a frame, it distracts IMHO

Nice sky. the lodge should be ligther. Its a bit dark compared to the sky. I kinda hides in the shadows.

The shadows in this shot kill it. Sorry. Perhaps highlights/shadows..but I am not sure if would helped. Perhaps shoot it at another time of the day.
