I love the ray of light hitting the main tree. I feel a crop from the right side, cutting out the small sliver of tree trunk and branch/weed, would make the composition stronger. Because there is so much detail in the background, an f-stop allowing for a a more shallow depth of field might have helped isolate the main tree as well. Good eye!

I love this minimalistic capture. I think this might have been a little stronger with the trees off center, but that is a matter of personal preference and certainly doesn't detract from this image. Beautiful, low key conversion!

I'm sure some may not like the abstract nature of this sandscape (and that's too bad), but I LOVE it! The shadows, light, texture and tones are just wonderful. Sometimes, simple is better. This would look beautiful framed and hanging. A 10 from me...
