Veins of Lightby K-RobComment: Fantastic detail! Just wish the sharpness didn't fall off so quickly on the lower right. |

Ghostby oksamitComment: There's so much in this scene that isn't moving, that it took me a minute to find the motion. It's a nice long exposure in low light, but it doesn't really accentuate the motion all that much. |

catch the ballby slonkoComment: Great timing to catch his anticipation! A cleaner background would really help here, I think. |

Hammer On, Pull Offby TallblokeComment: Great choice of subject. Some entries are subjects in motion just for the sake of the motion, as opposed to subjects that are enhanced by motion. I have always been amazed by the speed of a string musician's hands, and so capturing this motion really accentuates that. Very nice! |

Neon Zoomby GordonComment: There are a number of zooming shots in the challenge, but this is the only one (so far) that is really working for me. I think it's the subject ... neon lights can be a little disorienting, so it's not as unnatural to see this effect with them, I think. Great job! 8 |

Cagedby fluxnComment: This is a little busy for me. I think the grate would have been interesting enough without the building and the person. On the other hand, I like the horizontal shadow on the building to offset the vertical lines. Hmmm ... undecided, I guess. Sorry to be so unclear! :) |

Lines & Anglesby ndsComment: Cool geometry! A little more detail in the railing would be stronger, I think. |

Bird on wireby rameviComment: Nice! Good color and simple composition with a good angle on the parallel lines. I think I would prefer the bird lower left though (rule of thirds). |

The Key's to Successby jefalkComment: Very nicely done ... I like seeing a portrait in some sort of context. The wrinkles in the background are distracting though. |

A Tough Lifeby heidaComment: Great! Love the tonal range, the natural pose, and the way the wall softens behind him. |
