I love images with subtle detail you don't notice in the thumbnail, and this is a perfect example - the dappled light is great. As for the crop, I'd go for something between this and your posted crop version. Somehow I'd like the butterfly to be a little closer to the edge of the frame, as though we've caught him just before he flutters off into his own little world.

Wow, incredibly dramatic sky. Which we had something as interesting over here, it's just been grey and wet all day long! Reckon you could pop the sharpness a little with some USM or smart sharpen.

This is fantastic - nice and sharp with awesome processing, and the orb in the background is intriguing. Somehow I like the fact it's completely detached from Vishnu, although I'm sure you could achieve some really creative stuff by having the two together.
