The post processing is really soft for me. I like the action portrayed but the image feels like it has lost a little of it's 3D depth. -BB

Sweet action shot. I like being able to see the ball in the frame, too bad it's right in the middle of #24's head! No point loss for that though. -BB

I only have a couple of comments not too much of a critique.

I would've probably opted for a complete B&W with this type of photo. The coloring in the buildings is a little distracting for me and I think it would enhance the trees a bit more.

The other is your type of border. I didn't even see it at first but I like it a lot. I can tell that IT IS a border but I can still follow the image clear to the edge of the frame. Ok, that last sentance sounds kind of lame but I'm serious that I do like it.

I think the only thing that I would've maybe done a bit differently (only in my opinion) is the B&W; other than that, "Great photo" and we'll both go for 7's in April! -BB

For one the orange color in the water, the green of the leaves and the white of the falls all really compliment each other very well. I like the use of the 1.3s shutter speed as it makes the falls seem like there's more water AND the pool is smooth without any ripples. It must not have been too windy down in where you were shooting because the leaves don't show any motion for a 1+ second shutter.

Sorry I don't have too much of a critique on what to improve. Overall it's a perfect photo, now all you need to do is insert a little "wow factor" (I'm not yet sure how) to push you over a 7+ score. Great photo. -BB

I really like B&W images. They allow you to see the photo for what the subject IS and not if the colors match or clash or just aren't right. I did a quick search for the pink one but didn't see it.

Probably the thing that most popped out at me was the little bit off centeredness. I actually like it! The amount of space to her right (camera left) is equivalent to the amount of her head being cropped. The feeling I get here is you had the camera on a tripod with her sitting in front. You either had a remote or set the timer and when you walked away for a moment she decided to lean her head over on her hand and wait for ..... CLICK! ..... you got her when she wasn't looking!

I know it's completely wrong but that was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this. I am a big fan a sharp/clear images also, so I would've rathered it not be quite so soft. It still should've definitely been a 6+ score. -BB

Well, first of all, this ROCKS! I nearly duplicated your photo with my entry! I want to post this first then read your other comments, just so my wording can be my own opinion.

One change I might suggest would be to try to get the background a little lighter, (in brightness, not color). I do like how it is completely out of focus though. The background on my entry didn't work out as well as this. Maybe a way to lighten the background would be to enhance the overall image. The bee could use just a bit more brightening which in turn might enhance the color too?...maybe? I didn't even get around to voting on this entry so I can't really say I helped you or hurt you.

You did beat me by "TWO" places though, so you did something right. -BB

The house in the background is a little too distracting (for me) as it took me a min for my eye to find the birds. -BB
