I really liked this shot, alas... only it's just too dark to be truly satisfyling.

The yellow border in addition to the intense image colours makes this a 'loud' capture. The hair line black alone would have served your otherwise interesting and unique capture/experiment better, IMHO.

These Are My Stairs

Comment:
A bit oversharpened (?), perhaps, but still a superb capture with the focused symmetry of the feline's face dominating the picture. The intensity makes it more than a 'pet pic'. The title, really, was needed here to tie to challenge. Well done.

Comment:
A bit topically 'strained', which is a shame, coz it's otherwise a fun shot with good lighting and composition. The range of blue in the smaller balloon is a little feast!

Simple, original, very homey! Thanks for sparing us the sweetness!
The composition is tasteful and fun, the background hue very appropiate. Love the worn, ornate oven plate (or whatever it may be).

At least you're not one to complain about the burden of 'moving'... :-D

I enjoy the intimate sincerity inherent in this capture. The natural expressions and gestures are matched by the lighting, which appears to be daylight. The wonderful couch cover relates a traditional element, the clean, unpretentiousdenim suggests hands-on work, provisions, safety. The frivolous dress of the girl on the left introduces joy and lightens the mood. One obvious flaw is the light area behind the top back of the couch, which, of course, cannot just be 'cropped off'. I would, ideally, also be able to see a lil more of the man's sweater, for texture.

All in all, this remains my favourite photograph in the challenge, and not alone for its topicality. This photo has 'range', and I am moved by it. > 8

May I suggest I syntactically correct title: "A Repair Joint Cyclists' WheelsCall Home". Still, a complex title...

The light, except for the flashlight near the wheel, is too unnaturally red. Otherwise, this could be a reasonable study, given the attention of the onlookers.

Actually, a wonderful capture lacking a topical credibility likely required by most voters in the challenge... > 6
