Remarks: Well, yes. The (simple) title is useful here in that it it directs the eye where it should go, straight away. From here, all is delicious.

Remarks: Not an obvious abstract but an immaculately composed (seen) one with all the visual attributes of the genre. The exaggerated contrast distributes good emphasis, tension and balance between both the static graphic and the quietly natural elements of the image. The result is an exciting photograph whose energy has been so efficiently employed as to render any evidence of subjects beyond its margins as a delightful quirk or, if you like, as a deliberate intimation of unbroken perfection somewhere outside our field of vision.

Remarks: I can't easily abstract the image, which, however, doesn't prevent me from appreciating it. The slow motion trails extend an ethereal quality to an animal usually evoking quite the opposite attribute. A gorgeous antithesis in a fine range of tones.

I've tried to acquire this car decades ago, in Spain, from a man who used a nylon stocking as a fan belt. Now, that it's near impossible to find parts, I have to be content with this shot of one. A little dark, perhaps, but nice 'n moody and creamy like my morning coffee. If you need a fender of an Avant, you can have this one:

Remarks: the subject appears to have prompted all manner and treatment. The result, to my sense, is a wonderful and sincerely felt cohesion of elements.

Remarks: one might say that part of the magic is simply trouvée, another due to happenstance and lens, but to see and, presumably quickly, assemble the contradictions into such classic sense, that is quite admirable.
