I think this shot works quite well. You might want to look at the shadows your lighting is throwing under the bottle. Personally I would have shot tighter on the brush and the end of the bottle.... the shot is meant to be about the liquid after all.... nice shot though..... Good luck, Todd.

I think this is a good effect but the angle doesn't add to the image. Perhaps a tighter crop might have impoved this. Doesn't appear to be the sharpest either. You are on the right track, just need to reshoot and look at some other angles.

nice shot, might have been worth straightening your verticals and cropping abit as well. It's a good idea though, might be worth exploring a little further with a different backdrop too..... take it outside or something, you could get some cool distorted landscapes or something through it the bubble. New to the World

First impression, the shot looked a little too soft. On a closer look I think you have carried it off quite well. I like the texture in the fur just to the right on the body, but it looks like it came at the expense of the side of the nose and the neck.

I like the composition and think that the ears just out of frame works quite well. Nice contrast from the light side to the shadow on the face. It makes a nice duotone, the texture in the fur really stands out.

Technically, I think you loose a little on this due to two things. Firstly, it's just marginally too soft for my liking.... and secondly the blowout in the whites, might have been better to either increase the light overall or reduce it overall, if that makes sense. A little more light in the shadow areas would have given you the chance to avoid the overexposure on the neck.

Overall though I think it is a really nice image, it's not super captivating, but it has those soft, sweet qualities that a picture of a kitten should have.
