Amandaby MadukesComment: The focus on the face is good and the viewer is drawn directly to it, however, one eye has a much stronger blue tone to it than the other and it's very distracting. |

Simple Liveby SiggikalliComment: Love the depth in this image. It's like you could walk right into the frame. Very warm and inviting. |

The Touchby posthumousComment: Great use of depth of field. The eye is drawn directly to the point where the brush meets the paper. The curvy lines and the quick decent into blur give a sense of motion. Very dynamic (for me anyway). |

Hidden Daisiesby sacredspiritComment: Shadows make for interesting images. You've done well to get the edges of the shadow sharp. The texture in the blind adds interest. |

Nourished By The Sunby SquishyBComment: I like your idea. The highlights of the tree with the sun behind can make for an amazing image.
In this case though I think the sun is a bit too central and not enough of the tree (IMO) is getting benefit from the back lighting.

Disco!by snafflesComment: *** Critique Club ***
First impression: Fits nicely with your title.
Composition: Good choice of perspective. Gives the impression of platform shoes and disco. The objects are well placed within the frame.
Exposure: The image does not feel balanced as parts of the main objects are in shadow and some areas are too bright. I think this would probably work better if the exposure were more even over the shoe and glitter ball.
Impact: This image has kind of an 'in your face' effect. (to me that's not a good thing) The bright blue colour probably has something to do with that. A different white balance may have helped to get the colour you wanted.
Remember, this is just one opinion.
