I like the vintage look to the image however, a few things stand out for me that could use improvement:

1)The horizon feels tilted (though may be the mist) even though the lamp post is straight. Just gives it a feel of being unbalanced.

2)The horizon is pretty much through the middle which makes the image very static.

I'm wondering if a view along the railing (keeping the lamp post in the foreground) could of added some needed dynamics to the image.

I didn't score this one but probably would of scored it a 4 or 5.

I like the detail in the eye and how the gannet stands out in a field of blue. I can just see faint haloing around the wings so maybe a bit too much hightlight/shadow or sharpening. Other than that a very nice image.

I have to look up this place as I'm going back to Scotland in June.

I love the watercolour feel to this one. The only thing I would suggest is to crop more of the water, maybe just show about half of the lighter water area. I can see this as a tapestry.

I like the mood in this image. I think it could be made much more dynamic by cropping the top almost down to the central leaf.

I think the idea of HDR for this image is a good one however it appears to be overdone, hence the cartoon look to the image and the blown out areas in the water.
