LITTLE WATER SNAKE WITH A RED TONGUEby basia03Comment: Unfortunately the snake is overexposed and out of focus. To correct this (I assume the snake was moving) use a faster shutter speed and pan if you have to to keep the snake in the frame. Otherwise, the composition for this image works. |

Chameleonby louie cComment: This is a good idea for a photo. Unfortunately the flash overexposed your friend's prey. |

Goose Chaseby QuadrajetComment: Ready, set, go. I like the motion blur. Due to the sense of motion a little more space in front of the goose might add to the impact of this image. |

Morning Swanby sselmanComment: I like the idea of this picture and the fact that you took it in sepia.
The focus seems to be in the middle of the water behind the swans and the horizon is a little crooked. |

Pollyby kiwinessComment: I like the contrast and the use of depth of field in this photo. I probably would have tried to get more of the bird in the photo either by taking the picture vertically or by not cropping as much, |

America's Heartlandby GeocideComment: It appears that you're shooting over the cows heads on this one. Shooting from the hip or lower might give a better perspective as well as shooting horizontal rather than vertical. |

Cloud Nineby Ricky CleaveComment: This is a hard situation to get the proper depth of field for maximum impact. For the most impact, only the ladybug would be in sharp focus. To do this you would probably have to shooting from directly above the ladybug and selecting a larger aperture (smaller number) and possibly using a macro lense so you could get very close. |

Butterfly a l'Orangeby wdebeau1Comment: The subject does not appear to have enough impact with the background is such clear focus. Choosing a depth of field that only includes the plate and not the plants in the back would improve this image. You would probably have to move the plate further away from the plants and/or choose a larger aperture (smaller number). |
