very nice, I like the angle you chose for the photo, nomally reflections distract from an image like this, but I think it improved this one. The border helped as well

nice use of DOF, good color, since there is another chain in the contest which IMO does this just a tad bit better, you might suffer from the comparison in scoring.

I would have preferred a 1/3 break on the horizon rather than splitting the image. And IMO the contrast between the sky and foreground is too great.

Good potential with this old house. On my screen the contrast between the house (dark) and the sky (blown out) is too great. If you were to photograph it again, you might move in closer so the "weathering" and overgrowth on the housecould be seen. That would remove the overhead wires and cut down on the amount of sky. A time of day with a softer light might also help.

Use all your pixels and it will score higher.....from what I can see this might be a very good image, but it is too small to judge.
