In this shot she is part of the enviroment where she lives.. the north.. she is drawn up, protecting herself.. kinda preparing for the brutal winter facing her... the flora in the foreground remind me of the snow to come.

Her hackles are up.. she is on the move... the composition is really good in this shot for the foreground moose.. would have been even better if the one in the b/g wasn't there... the sense of movement that is evident by her fur standing up to her hump would have been even more pronounced as the contours of her head would have stood out.

Love the composition on this shot... the OOf mmose in the bg has got her eye on you... the other moose seems to think that she is protected by the flora that surrounds her... heheheh... nice crisp focus.. good job not spooking them.

Wonderful clarity in the eye... when I look at these shots, I am in awe that you are photographing a mother moose with her young in the wild ... taken with a resonable long lens true, but certainly not a mega lens... you crazy canuck!

No loss of light in the reflection like in most other reflections that you see in photos and the fact that there is no ripples at all on the water makes for a near perfect mirror image - very nice -- for me it gives a sense of perfect stillness ... what is this sh*t you are spouting that you can't photograph landscapes and the like?

Wonderful exposure on this sunrise... you are making me nostalgic, there is nothing like the first frost to make the water still to reflect so beautifully the rising sun.

Must be fun to catch working actors you paparazzo you - she sure doesn't look like she is all that into him though (grin) If you cut this shot off right above the fire hydrant, it kinda makes a funny statement too.. the healthy drink, the dead butts under the hydrant, like they have been put to death...another whole world beneath the legs of the humans.
