The potter's workby Yo_SpiffComment: The hands are crisp, interesting.. the potters wheel is spinning, the blur is real.. and of course I always wanted to be a potter... well photographed - creative and well done. |

Well, Hello There!by houstonianComment: This shot satisfies the challenge.. everything technical works about it.. the colors... the composition, the motion blur.. but beyond that, there is something about this dog that is so appealing.. the catch light in it's eye.. the expression on it's face.. an impressionistic painting effect - I am in love.. :) |

A Human Studyby IvoryComment: coming back to comment only:
Your pp on this amazing capture gives it a slightly eerie quality as if the human is on display as a human.. doing what a human does .. the position of his body, neck hunched over but shoulders straight back looks slightly uncomfortable - love it.. the lines and textures fascinate me.. the pure blacks and whites and all the shades of grays are wonderfully represented - everything works in this photo. One of my highest votes. |

Street Basketball by JudiComment: coming back to comment only:
already voted - and gave this shot a high one.. what really stands out for me is the clarity in this shot.. wonderful pping.. the lighting is great - the action was captured perfectly.. both feet off the ground.. love how how the painted figure on the right seems to be staring at the child making the shot ..and the painted figure on the left is looking the the child trying to block it.. just so well photographed! |

Santariaby pawdrixComment: You did Martin proud Steve :) This shot has all the elements of a good story - a great cast of characters, smoke, the covered heads of the pious women so rarely seen in my part of the world...bringing to my mind the rituals of my past that were comforting and tiring at the same time.. wonderfully photographed and beautifully processed. |

Who? Me?by ericwooComment: nice conversion job eric.. the whites really make this shot pop... did you have a larger frame shot... I just wondered where the man's shadow would take the eye.. I am starting to feel a real affinity for shadows these days. :) |

gooooo dammit!by ericwooComment: This shot makes me smile.. I am sure I look at my little dog with the same kinda look.. and then on further study I am left wondering where the dogs head is and that brings me to the signs.. lol.. maybe they confused him.. what to do - what to do? |
