Mr. Blue Eyesby wetlandComment: There are some flaws that are evident in this photo but I cannot take a decent macro shot for the life of me so I gave it an 8 based on the detail of the creatures eyes. |

Fata Morganaby androgeusComment: There is so much to see in such a simple photo. Living at the beach I am always excited when I come across sand that has no sign of the human presence and this photo exemplifies why that is.
Beautifully executed - my eyes thank you. 8 |

Lost Monkby MatthewComment: This photo fascinated me. How to get a b/g that is devoid of color except for the people. Beyond my abilities for sure. The saffron gold color of the Monks dress makes him the focal point in this shot and it fits the challenge perfectly. Photographer Nemaste. 9 |

Seriously sick of strawberries...by sekarmalathyComment: Grin, so am I... sick of strawberries ... especially freezer jam..whatever happened to people who knew how to make good old fashioned jam?
However, I digress.
This is a technically perfect shot.. crisp focus, wonderful black b/g to make it pop and the red of the berry just begs me to change my mind and go back to eating strawberries. An 8 from me. |

curveby ursulaComment: I gave this shot a 9 ... pretty sure I know the photographer because of the style and by that I mean, technically perfect, use of complimentary colors and a strong composition. Excellent. |

Making Wakes in a Secret Placeby SheryllComment: I love this shot... the mountains frame the boat and the figure 8 the pilot is carrying out. SO much fun and motion in this shot... should have scored higher. |

Jim Morrison - The Young Lion (Joel Brodsky) by BogiComment: Well there is a saying that everyone has a twin somewhere on the planet and you found Jim's twin. Not only is the resemblance remarkable, so is the lighting, the pose, the post processing .. I will stop now :) but you get the picture ... and the ribbon. Congratulations! |
