Reachingby robstComment: Birds of paradise! When we were little, my aunt had a bunch of these growing in her yard and I and a bunch of other kids would pick them and pretend they were powerful wands. She never did figure out who kept picking them. But I digress... This is beautifully understated. I love that lone fallen stalk in contrast with the others. 7 |

That lookby Yo_SpiffComment: I could see myself in one of those guys's shoes because I've been looking at this for a few minutes trying to decipher what I'm looking at. Are they mannequins, people in drag? But I think the ambiguity and the clever composition (esp with the sign in the corner) make for a fun and engaging photo. 7 |

All Summer In A Day by rooumComment: The Wonder Years! Beautiful and enchanting like always. This could only be rooum I just realized that majority of the pictures I recently added to my favorites were from you. If this is not Clive, I apologize. =) 9 |

One Sunday in Autumnby PaulComment: Wow, I really love this. That warm sunlight illuminating her hair is just beautiful. Her body posture, the gaze and blurry hand make it appear like a genuine snapshot of a moment during an intimate afternoon walk, instead of something that is posed. As far as post-processing goes, this is my favorite of the bunch. Just the right amount of warmth and glow. I cant wait to see whose entry this is. 9 |

Alyssaby MadMan2kComment: I love the narrow focus and the post processing creating a warm, dreamy atmosphere. Sorry to sound nitpicky but I think it would have been better if the horizon was cropped out or if there was a little bit more sky. |

the iPadish joy of laughter (the bond within) by TiberiusComment: I gave this a 7, which in restrospect, is rather low. Genuinely joyous, tells a story without appearing contrived. Well deserving of the blue and jury pick! CONGRATS! Message edited by author 2013-08-15 18:39:03. |
