This image caught my attention the second I saw it. WOW! Amazing luck in capturing this! Great center balance, excellent DOF, and a striking subject. I live in Maryland and still haven't come close to seeing this. :) This was my automatic, and only 10. Excellent!

I really like this image. The color makes it very dramatic, and it reminds me of sunsets back home. Great centering. The only nit is the ground isn't totally level. But the power of the image moves it to a 9. Great job.

Very interesting shot, and an excellent example of "grain" lending mood to an image. I might have used something to erase the footprints and tire marks on the ground to give it a cleaner feel. It also looks like you need a slight burn on the hands/lower back area where the hands fade into the back a bit. One of my favorites. 9

A comon subject, but the strong colors make this image work for me visually. The dark blue of the sky really helps here. I also like the texture of the sand on the ground. 8

Aww! Look at that face! Nice balance, cute subject! Good use of a colored background. for this challenge, I'd clone out the bit of leg showing to make it stronger center balanced. Solid 7.
