This reminds me of the images I made in high school doing brush on emulsions. I still have a Van Dyke brown stain on my favorite shirt. Excellent center composition and i love the way the image bleeds off the canvas. 8

The Flag in the 'Old Arcade'

This is simply a well done interior shot! The flag gives you a strong visual center and adds some perspective to the interior size. Minor technical details include the flag behind the US flag which is a tad distracting, and the light on the right going through another light. That throws the "center" off a bit. I would have considered cropping those lights out. Solid 7. Nice!

I didn't enjoy most of the flowers in this challenge. This one I did. The tight crop really focuses me on the beauty of the rose. The water drops add some great contrasting texture. Beautiful shot and one of my 2 highest flower pictures. 8

I'm sure you got a bunch of "it's not centered" comments on this one. I disagree if you did. Good center balance, and a whimsical subject. I like the expression on the frog's face! The background focuses the attention where it needs to be. 8

I like the balance to this image. Good center weight focus, and the clouds to the left add an interesting contrast for me. I'd love to see this later/earlier in the day with a different light. 8

Froggy! I really liked the whimsical element to this image. I like the frog hugging the wine bottle. I think this shot has some serious potential as a stock shot. It needs to be a print at the least. Not knowing what your apature was, the image might be better with more of the frog in focus. But I still love this image. 8
