I love the pose... and the look on his face. The composition is really good in this. The horizon, the clouds, the tree and his placement.

However, something is missing from this.... and I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe if you had taken advantage of the advanced editing rules a bit more.... and accentuated him over the sharpness of the grass and tree?
