OK the PP on this is way cool. I like how your shot looks as if you drew in the door in pencil and pasted the door knob on in photo shop. Great texture and feel to this shot. Very high key.

Well I have to ask. When you eat your smarties, do you eat the red ones last?

Great DOF and I like the lighting as well.

Katherine, I thought you said that you didn't know anyone with the name "Tony". Does he carry a "violin case"?

For what it's worth I thought this would make it to the top 20 but what do I know?

All the best to you and yours.

Terry, I know that some of the animal right activists have problems with the use of leather for belts so I would just like to point out that they have a thriving market for canvas and nylon belts and you could get one for about $5.00 and give it as a present. It has already been said but it bares repeating "Crack Kills" :)

All the best to you and yours.

Bear, first off, I love the shirt and you wear it well :) Second, I really like the effect you got by using topaz adjust (at least it looks like topaz adjust) and I think you did it just right. I find that I get a little carried away with topaz and fudge up more shots then I help so I've moved away from it for now until I can control myself :)

It's a great shot and it fitting for this challenge and it scored well.

All the best to you and yours.

Michelle, I really like the texture in this shot and I think it should have done better. I love that you achieved this effect outside of photoshop and you pulled it off spectacularly. Good on you for being so creative and thinking outside the box.

All the best to you and yours.

C, I'm shocked to see that the good people of DPC were unable to pull themselves along the definition of grunge a little further and if they had they would have found that this image is a perfect example of grunge. Grunge is found everywhere and you happen to find it in nature.

Personally I think the voters missed the boat on this one and you should have been well above 5 in the voting.

All the best to you and yours.

Naomi, not everyone will see the glamour in nature the way you do and for that your image has suffered. It's unfortunate that this image wasn't in a challenge more suited to it's true beauty.

All the best to you and yours.

Sorry Peter, but I have to agree with the other comments on this one. It is a BIG shoehorn for a glamour challenge, so big in fact that I don't think it should have been in this challenge. That being said, I do have to look at the reasons why you would think it belongs and try to be objective in my thoughts. Could it be her look or maybe her movements or even her desire to pursue that line of work. DO any of these thoughts come close to the reasons.

I guess the only true way to know is for you to tell us in the details of the photo.

All the best to you and yours.
