Wonderful and crisp image, the DoF works great and the stopped motion on the props is awsome. Great shot.

Your image is quite dark on my monitor and as a result a lot of the wonderful details are gone for me. The angle is interesting and the composition works but I think I would need to see a lighter vewrsion to fully appreciate your photo.

Now this is what I was thinking this challenge should have in it. Nice job on the capture. Do you set for a long exposure on a shot like this or is it just a 1-5 sec shot? I like the colours and the prospective on the shot. It is a beautiful place to be for you to get a photo like this. I to would love to capture such a shot. Good on you.

Man if that were true the world over wouldn't it be something to smile about :-}
I like the composition and the B&W for this shot it's a clean image and you are compelled to read on for the real truth behind the headline. Great shot, good luck.

We are compelled to look past the door and into her eyes. This is the type of shot that sells newspapers. I love the split division of field and the contrast of the images on either side os the door. The tones and colour are (I feel anyway) right for the shot and work well for me. You have a great shot on your hands to tell the story you have started. Best of luck. I think that this should make the top 10 or better.

It is a great shot to get but it leaves you as the photographer wondering just how things turned out for the victim. I like your headline and the Image it deals directly with the shot nicely done.

...and page three, page four, page five..... Have you noticed that the amount of corruption in big and small town politics has really gone up. This is very relevent and compele us to read on. Great shot with the fish eye, the colours and tones are great, good work.

Compelling and heart felt, you look to have a personal interest in your subject and that's not a bad thing when you're shooting human interest pieces. I like the tight shot and the intensity in his eyes. You can tell that he's a fighter and has a positive out look on life inspite of the chemo.

Your desaturation is nice and I like the slight colour on the ears and lips (at least I can see some colour on my monitor) it's a good edit for minimal and I hope you do very well with this shot. In my opinion, it is very well done.

This is a strong statment and a great image to carry your point and help draw us into the full story continued on page C3 of the lifestyle section.

You can see the stress from the shot and feel compelled to read on, great job.

Nice take on the homeless and a different approach to the shot with the three types of subjects. I like the static homeless guy and the slower motion in the background and then the faster motion in the forground. It all makes sence and works well together in the shot. In minimal edit there is nothing we can do with the shadows but it works pretty good anyway. The tones are good and the contrast under different edit rukes needs a boost.
That being said I think it works well and I hope that you do well with it in this challenge.
