stretch.jpgby ChimericImagerComment: A playful and sensual pose, and deftly burned. Looking at your other photos too, you are clearly a master of dodging and burning! |

dreamy morn 1.jpgby ChimericImagerComment: Great composition and excellent use of motion panning, with the birds sharp and everything else just a bit "dreamy". Did you try cropping the sky out completely? Like cropping just above the tree and cloning/burning in the remaining sky on the far left. Might make an even stronger composition. |

Outdoor Museumby gsalComment: Ãrbær? Great colors and composition. I would have been sorely tempted to edit out that shadow coming in from the left, but I suppose that's against the rules. |

Welcome to Bronte Countryby obsidianComment: The bizarre colors make for an interesting effect, but it's too unnatural for my taste. Also the glow around the tree-tops on the far right is too obvious. And the horizon looks tilted. |

Tough Stuffby GunnsiComment: Great idea! I know all too well what that winter is like (not that it's much better here in Boston). You've captured all three in one frame, wind, snow, and darkness. Would be a 10 if the font didn't have such obvious jaggies - 9 |

Great Falls National Parkby emaynerComment: I'm not sure the desaturated look works for this scene, I'd have gone either with full color or B&W. Also the font is hard to read, it looks all jaggy. |

Pittsburghby alanfreedComment: Hey, unfair, my city didn't have any fireworks this week! Very nicely caught and well composed. I just wish the darks were darker, to really give the city lights and fireworks full contrast. In particular, even the darkest parts of the sky still look grayish-brown on my display, rather than jet-black. |
