Entomology for Beginners "BEE"by ccabmanComment: Looks like your original capture was very good, but the postprocessing has just about ruined it. Don't know if it's compression artifacts or some combo of sharpening and noise removal, but whatever it is it left massive artifacts all over the flower and bee. |

Silky smooth as in a tie, or were you thinking something else?by MuppetComment: Good idea and the pose works well too, but the harsh shadows on the wall ruin the effect for me. If you use on-camera flash for portraits like this then you have to either light the background separately (do drown the shadows) or have the model stand so far in front of the background that the flash doesn't reach. |
