A golf ball? A bit soft for me. I would have like to see it go from white to black with some of the blue through the middle.

It looks yuk (not in a negative way), and I cant tell what it is. Interesting textures, rough, smooth. I cant see a focal point of interest.

Yep, but still a lovely shot. I really like the tight centre of the flower with the little buds opening. You could have gone even more macro and had people wondering about the ones just about to open.
