So Trueby NeuferlandComment: I can't help being a bit biased against this shot because I'm positive I've seen a very similar shot elsewhere on DPC. Also, it was discussed in the forums. Also, I've seen Jurassic Park so this has become a rather tired trick.
Photographically, I think cleaning the mirror free of dust before shooting would have improved this. The mirror frame adds nothing to the shot which suggests some kind of cropping is in order. |

School Busby TerramarComment: The words 'school bus' are a very familiar sight on school buses so they really aren't the focus of this shot. There is no surprise factor to make the words interesting. I find the connection to the challenge rather tenuous.
Photographically, while I appreciate the contrast of yellow and blue there isn't much else here to hold my interest. |

One Earthby C-FoxComment: This is nice a shot but the connection to the challenge is rather tenuous. The words on the man's t-shirt really don't impact the photo at all. There is no surprise factor that makes the words stand out. |

Bicycle on a Snowy Nightby coolharComment: I really like the quality of the light on this shot. My suggestion is to crop out the train to just about an inch to the left of the foremost tree. The trees, the fence, and the building add a sense of place to the enviroment but the train, an interesting subject in itself, steals interest from the bike. in the winner's circleby coolharComment: Harvey, this is a really nice portrait. I like the colors of his green jacket and orange helmet against the shadowy background. He looks like a winner. My only nit is that I would like to see a bit more sparkle in his eyes. This can be tough with digital capture. |

these are the days of our livesby fstopopenComment: Cool idea. I thought of doing something like this on the beach. I kindo of wish there was a bit starker shadows in the lettering so the word would stand out more but that is just a nit. |

Global Rip-...by BeeGeeComment: Yeah! Starbucks is an evil empire! Without the title though, the photo doesn't really have much to grab on to. The colors and the water droplets are nice. |
