Wanna Ride?by ShaneBlakeComment: I think a closer and lower angle of view would improve this. I don't care for the shine and the blue cast to the foreground. |

Whoops, missed the chimney!by LalliSigComment: This must have taken a few takes. This is one of those shots where I can't imagine it anywhere outside a challenge. Without the title I would think,"Huh? Why photograph this?" I like a photo to make some kind of statement, be it visual, emotional ,or informational, and this just doesn't do any of those things. I can't fault the technical aspects. |

Beesby JoshuaMComment: I'm only seeing one bee in this shot...My eye goes to the buds first and then the bee. Maybe if there was closer focus on the bee? |

Half Past Nineby Dax-Comment: Nice colors and interesting abstraction of line and form created from the areas of sharp and soft focus. I don't love it but I appreciate it. |

Blue Appleby joynimComment: This looks kind of messy and cluttered with the frayed ribbon, the loop, and the silver glitter on the ornament. The greyish blurred bacgkround doesn't do much to enhance this object. It just sort of looks like a blue, sort of glittery lump with a phallus protruding from the middle. I find it weirdly unpleasant. Sorry. |

Bright diamondsby KrisbyComment: I don't understand the inclusion of the wall in the upper right corner of the frame. It appears to be the sharpest part of this image. This angle is a bit extreme for this type of object. This is all just too monochromatic. |

Christmas spaceby remboComment: I like the arrangement. I think it was a mistake to crop off the bottom of the foreground ornament. The background looks a bit grey and dingy to me. |

Let It Snowby woodseyComment: Cute. I'd like to see a less shiny surface and I'd like a seamless background. |

Wide Openby dogzComment: This is very strange and surreal. I think I get how you did it (is that George Washington or Thomas Jefferson?) Very creative. I can't imagine how most voters will like it (it looks a bit arty for most tastes on this site) but it certainly makes use of shallow DOF (the way I interpret it anyway). I'm not sure if I like it or am just responding to the unusual quality. It certainly has me thinking about it, anyway which is more than I can say for the majority of DPC offerings. To me, it looks like it would make a cool album cover. I'm still not sure I actually like this image but I'm scoring high for meeting the challenge, and for originallity, creativity, and technical soundness. |
