Bad Day!by oravsky123Comment: Oh dear! He IS having a bad day! I like the fact that this portrait was taken in landscape. The positioning is perfect on the right with the baby looking 'into' the picture. I feel the need to cuddle him! |

"Another one bad to prison"by onarComment: I like the effect of the 'bars' in front of the monkey and I think the placement of the eyes in one square is perfect. Nice shot. |

Anguishby PaulEComment: The body being slightly out of focus has a strange effect, it seems to make the head 'float'. IMO showing a bit more of the chest and shoulders would have rectified this. |

Chittor.jpgby ShauryaComment: There's not much wrong with this photo IMHO except maybe for the timing. It is slightly overexposed and the light, I would guess it's around midday, does nothing for the building. I would go back early morning/late afternoon, depending on the angle of the sun for a softer, more flatering light which would eliminate the shadows and bring out the lovely colour of the brickwork. Keeping an eye open for some nice clouds to add interest to the background would also be an idea. A suggestion would also be to place the building slightly more to the left and make use of the wall on the bottom right hand corner to lead the viewers eye into the picture. Hopefully, the location is close enough for you to be able to go back! Of course, you could always touch it up in Photoshop to saturate the colours etc, but IMO it is better to do as much in camera as you can and as little as possible on the computer. Good luck and let us know if you try this one again.

Mother and Daughterby GreetmirComment: My apologies, Greetmir. I tried to add a post to the 'Best image from the one above you' thread and it kinda bombed out. This is the image I liked. I think I know what I did wrong. Anway, just wanted to let you know that I think this is a great shot and I love the inclusion of the 'daughter'. |

Hamishby SweetlittlepixieComment: Hamish looks like he could almost be my Bella's long lost twin brother! I have a pic of her on my portfolio. I really like the angle you used for this shot of Hamish. |

shadowby giraffeeComment: I grew up not far from Kruger Park so photos like this always make me feel a bit homesick. I love the black & white treatment, it suits the subject. |
