You have to know, puppet playing is not about the puppet, it's about how you play it. Much like photography actually. ;-)

I like the OOF christmas tree in the back, but I am not too fond of the harsh lighting on the puppet.

Dust Mop Slippers - Already in the Trash

On the one hand, I like the idea of the gift already in the trash. On the other hand, the trash is realy distracting. What bothers me more though, is the 'flat' nature of the image. You might try to introduce more speth through DOF, lighting or composition next time.

You must have noticed yourself that this pic is noisy and blurred. Why not lower your ISO, punt the cam on a tripod or stack of books and use a long exposure instead?

This pic has some strange local blue casts that highly distract me. Apart from that, it's technically okay, but not very interesting. Although I do wonder whether you tried the stuff :P

You're a sweatheart, but what did you think I meant by "No real estate this year, Please"!

The funny title can not sufficiently hide that the pic is squeezed into the theme. I am not bordered so much by squeezing, but the pic is also somewhat dark in the front and blown-out in the sky. These are hard lighting conditions and it takes practice to work around them.

I like the lighting and the facial expression, but I feel the picture is too posed and the composition is a bit too central imo. Furthermore, the picture does not seem to be realy sharp.

I am not too fond of photographs where someone simply makes a flat pic of something. You might as well put it under the copier. Please devote more time to composition and lighting to make your subject stand out and generate an appealing picture.

I like the idea, but I think the picture is too dark in general, except for the door, which is too light. This makes the eye of the viewer turn to the door, instead of to the scene in front.

In the darker days of the year, many photogs turn to artificial light, and not everyone of us has the money (or financial priority) to buy strobes or sophisticated flashes. Now, the onboard flash of the camera seems to come in handy. But they don't. Onboard flashes kill pictures: they create shiny skins and hars shadows. Your pic suffers from theze features as well. There are simple, cheap and fairly effective ways to handle this, for instance by putting a tissue in front of the flash to soften and diffuse the light. Other techniques to soften or reflect light may be helpfull too.
