Old Green Doorby timwest167Comment: I like the composition. I think maybe it would work better if you rotated the shot 180 Degrees. Seems a little soft for this kind of texture work. I'd like to see it with some curves adjustment to bring out more contrast. |

the big bloomer entryby cutoutComment: Great juxtaposition of color/textures. The angled and tight crop stop me from being drawn in to take in all the little details/textures and contrast of colors splashed in the shot. |

batteredby photokariangelComment: Pushed the curves a bit too much. Almost reversed/solarized some of the tones when pushing the contrast so much. I'd like to see a tighter crop to get rid of the distracting horizontal line between the door frame and foundation. Good potential. |

BLDG. No. 64by Shutter-For-HireComment: I love industrial settings. I'd like to see the contrast punched up some and the levels brought in so there is more solid black. The crop is too tight at the top and I'd go into the lens correction filter to try and straighten out some of the convergence going on. A bit soft as well. |

Inside an old ruined churchby littlebigmanComment: Gotta love natural frames, though I'm not sure if this would count more as a door than a "window". The brick is a bit too soft and the image could benefit from some curves adjustment. |

That ole door never did get fixed.by docjonnyComment: Contrast is maybe too high for this kind of textured shot. I'd like to see this cropped more on the right or less on the left to balance out the composition. When placing the composition focus so much to the center it's better to go with a balanced crop around the subject. Overall very nice, reminds me of running around with my X-700 and a bulk-loader of Pan-F Plus. :) |
