Very pretty, nice angle and striking green eyes. Just needs a bit more sharpening to take th almost 'plasticy' effect off her skin. Like the background, and nicely coloured border.

Purple

Clever the way the two central eyes 'join', very well positioned and nice close crop. The lightings a bit dark for the image though, it would be far more striking if a bit brighter.

Pretty flowers and a nice, clear background which does not distract. The flowers aren't quite sharp enough for me personally, but I like the 'glittery' effect they have.

It's a good setting for the photo, and the fact that it's night time adds something extra to it too, which I like. I think people will pick up on the fact that the purple isnt a prominant enough part of the image, as if you look at the other entries the purple colour is dominant, even if it is small. The bright lights distract from it a bit though, meaning It's slightly blured. For a first entry it's still a good shot, and you'll become accustomed to the type and style of shot people enter so it'll become easier for you. : )

Pretty shot, nice deep purple of the sky and nice reflections in the water. Like the way the bottom right corner is darkened by the bush, gives it a bit of a viggnetted look.

ermmm... I'm lost on the focus of this photo, and it may help if it were a bit more purple, as at first glance it looked grey. Good gradiation and lighting on a positive note, but I'm afraid this really doesn't do anything for me.
